Ingredients
- 2 cups diced apples (preferably Granny Smith)
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 package puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Sauté diced apples in butter with cinnamon until tender.
- Combine the apples with caramel sauce.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
- Fill each square with the apple-caramel mixture and seal edges.
- Bake until golden and puffed, about 25 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
Notes
Chill the dough before baking for a flaky texture. Pair with vanilla ice cream for indulgence.
