Description

Delightful pastry bombs filled with sweet apples and rich caramel, wrapped in flaky puff pastry.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced apples (preferably Granny Smith)
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 package puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Sauté diced apples in butter with cinnamon until tender.
  2. Combine the apples with caramel sauce.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
  4. Fill each square with the apple-caramel mixture and seal edges.
  5. Bake until golden and puffed, about 25 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
  6. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Notes

Chill the dough before baking for a flaky texture. Pair with vanilla ice cream for indulgence.
