A cozy and delicious Apple Cinnamon Bread that captures the flavors of autumn with sweet apples and warm cinnamon.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and melted butter.
- Gradually combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a crunchy topping, sprinkle some chopped nuts or oats on top before baking.
