Description

A delightful Apple Cinnamon Loaf, perfect for cozy weekends and family gatherings, with a comforting flavor of sweet apples and warm cinnamon.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups diced apples (mix of Fuji and Granny Smith)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the sugar and butter together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.
  6. Fold in the diced apples gently to avoid crushing them.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use a mix of sweet and tart apples. Allow the loaf to cool before slicing for better texture.
