Instructions
- Set the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat fully.
- Gently roll out the pie dough onto a pizza pan or baking sheet, shaping a 1/4-inch thick crust.
- In a medium bowl, combine granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and ground cinnamon.
- Toss the apple slices with the prepared sugar mixture until they are evenly coated.
- Distribute the coated apple slices evenly across the dough surface.
- In a separate bowl, mix all-purpose flour, brown sugar, rolled oats, and ground cinnamon for the topping.
- Cut in the softened butter using a fork or pastry blender until the mixture forms medium-sized crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the layered apples.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the topping is golden and the apples are tender.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with caramel topping, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.
