Ingredients

  • 6-8 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup cold butter, cubed


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and cold butter until crumbly.
  4. Layer the apple mixture in a baking dish, then sprinkle the oat topping over it.
  5. Bake for 35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
