Description
Delightful tacos filled with warm, cinnamon-spiced apples—a fun twist on classic apple pie.
Ingredients
- 3 large apples, diced (mix of Granny Smith and Fuji)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 6 soft flour tortillas
- Oil for frying (or brush for baking)
- Ice cream or whipped cream for topping
- Caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Sauté diced apples with butter, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until tender.
- To create taco shells, fry tortillas in oil or bake at 375°F (190°C) until crispy.
- Stuff the warm taco shells with apple filling and top with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
For a lighter option, bake the taco shells instead of frying. Use a mix of apples for the best flavor.
