Description

A fun and delicious twist on a classic dessert, combining apple pie flavors with taco-shaped shells.


Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Street Taco Flour Tortillas
  • â…“ cup Salted Butter, melted
  • ¾ cup Finely Crushed Vanilla Wafer Crumbs
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 20 oz Canned Apple Pie Filling
  • ¼ cup Heavy Cream
  • Whipped Cream (Optional)
  • Caramel Sauce (Optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brush both sides of the tortillas with melted butter.
  3. In a bowl, mix the crushed vanilla wafer crumbs and ground cinnamon.
  4. Dip each tortilla in the crumb mixture to coat them nicely.
  5. Shape the tortillas into taco-like shells by bending them slightly and placing them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until they are golden and crisp.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  8. Stuff each taco shell with the apple pie filling.
  9. Drizzle with heavy cream and top with whipped cream and caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

Store taco shells and filling separately for best results. Reheat taco shells before filling.
