Description

Tender, smoky BBQ chicken sliders topped with crunchy coleslaw in soft slider buns, perfect for gatherings and casual dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 12 slider buns
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • Seasonings to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then bake until cooked through.
  3. While the chicken is baking, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, mayonnaise, vinegar, and seasonings to make the coleslaw.
  4. Once the chicken is done, shred it and mix with barbecue sauce.
  5. Assemble sliders by piling BBQ chicken and coleslaw on slider buns.

Notes

For best results, let chicken rest before shredding to retain moisture. You can prepare coleslaw a day in advance.
