A delightful twist on the classic grilled cheese, combining creamy brie and sweet blueberry jam for a perfect balance of flavors.
Ingredients
- 3 teaspoons blueberry jam or blueberry pie filling
- 1/8 cup Brie cheese, cut into slices
- 2 slices classic white bread
- 3 teaspoons softened salted butter
Instructions
- Rub the softened butter over one side of each bread slice, covering the edges well.
- On the plain side of one slice, stack the Brie cheese and blueberry jam.
- Place the second slice on top with the buttered side facing out.
- Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat and add the sandwich.
- Cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes until golden and the Brie is gooey.
- Remove the sandwich, slice it in half, and enjoy while hot.
Notes
Pairs well with fresh fruit or a light salad. Drizzle extra blueberry jam on the side for dipping.
