Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons blueberry puree (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
  3. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently until just combined. Fold in the blueberries.
  5. Fill the donut pan with the batter using a piping bag or spoon, about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool completely before glazing.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with blueberry puree until desired consistency and dip or drizzle over donuts.
