Ingredients

  • 1 corned beef brisket
  • Seasoning from brining package
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup beer (or gluten-free alternative)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season brisket with the spices from the brining package.
  3. Sear the brisket in a heavy pot or Dutch oven until browned on all sides.
  4. Add onions, carrots, and garlic to the pot.
  5. Pour in enough beef broth and beer to cover two-thirds of the brisket.
  6. Cover and let it simmer in the oven for 3 hours.
  7. Remove from oven and let the brisket rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
