Description

A comforting breakfast combining gooey grilled cheese with fluffy scrambled eggs, perfect for busy mornings or leisurely weekends.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, Gruyère, or mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Whisk together eggs, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and pour in the eggs, scrambling gently until just set.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of bread and layer cheese on the unbuttered side.
  4. Pile scrambled eggs on top of the cheese, add more cheese, and top with a second slice of bread.
  5. Grill the sandwiches in the skillet until golden brown and cheese is melted.
