Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden and nutty.
  2. Let the browned butter cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled butter with sugars and eggs, mixing until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in raspberries and chocolate chips.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  11. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
