Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup room-temperature butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped soft caramels or caramel chips


Instructions

  1. Cream room-temperature butter with brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add egg and vanilla, then fold in flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Stir in chopped caramels and chill the dough for 30–60 minutes if desired.
  4. Scoop onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until edges are set.
  6. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes
