Description
A flavorful one-pot pasta dish combining the tastes of buffalo wings with creamy cheese.
Ingredients
- 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Sauté the chicken in a large pot until fully cooked.
- Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
- Stir in the buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
- Add the uncooked pasta and 2 cups of water or chicken broth to the pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the liquid.
- Mix thoroughly before serving and garnish with parsley or green onions.
Notes
Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce based on your spice tolerance. Use block cream cheese for a better texture.
