A flavorful twist on the classic Italian fettuccine Alfredo, infused with Cajun spices and juicy chicken for a comforting yet exciting meal.
Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken slices with Cajun seasoning.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Combine the cooked fettuccine and chicken with the Alfredo sauce. Mix well.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, consider saving some pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency. Use fresh ingredients for the best results.
