Description

A flavorful twist on the classic Italian fettuccine Alfredo, infused with Cajun spices and juicy chicken for a comforting yet exciting meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken slices with Cajun seasoning.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  6. Combine the cooked fettuccine and chicken with the Alfredo sauce. Mix well.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, consider saving some pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency. Use fresh ingredients for the best results.
