Ingredients
- 1 cup stone-ground grits
 - 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
 - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1/2 cup onion, chopped
 - 4 cups water or broth
 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
 - Salt to taste

Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water or broth to a boil. Gradually stir in the stone-ground grits, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring frequently until creamy.
 - In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
 - Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning to the skillet, cooking until shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
 - Serve the creamy grits topped with the sautéed shrimp, garnishing with chopped parsley or green onions.
