Description

A bold and flavorful pasta dish combining savory steak and creamy rigatoni smothered in zesty Cajun spices.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz rigatoni
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin recommended)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning, then sear until browned on both sides and cooked to desired doneness.
  3. Remove steak from skillet and let rest. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Add heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in mozzarella cheese until melted and combined.
  5. Slice steak into strips and add to the sauce along with the cooked rigatoni. Toss to combine and heat through.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For the best texture, avoid overcooking the pasta. Cook the steak to medium-rare for optimal juiciness.
