Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
 - 1 cup buttermilk
 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1 tbsp paprika
 - 1 tsp garlic powder
 - 1 tsp onion powder
 - 1 tsp salt
 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
 - Oil for frying
 
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken strips in buttermilk for at least 1 hour (overnight for best results).
 - In a bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
 - Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat to 350°F (175°C).
 - Dredge the marinated chicken strips in the seasoned flour until well coated.
 - Fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-6 minutes per side.
 - Remove and let them rest on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
 
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute regular flour with gluten-free flour. For extra flavor, add cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the marinade.
