Description

Delicious dessert cups featuring roasted apples, gooey caramel, and a crunchy crumble, perfect for autumn gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • Sea salt for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Spread the apples in a baking dish and pour caramel sauce over them.
  4. In another bowl, mix oats, flour, and brown sugar. Add cold butter and blend with fingers until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples and caramel.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes until the topping is golden and the apples are tender.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with sea salt if desired.

Notes

Choose firm, tart apples for best results. You can substitute gluten-free flour or make it vegan with coconut oil and plant-based caramel.
