Description

A quick and satisfying one-pan meal that brings the classic flavors of cheese steak, with cheesy goodness and tender pasta, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups dry spiral pasta
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons A1 Steak Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 pound ground beef

Instructions

  1. Break up the ground beef in a big skillet over medium-high heat and stir until browned.
  2. Add the chopped bell pepper and onion, sauté until soft, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat, then add onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, paprika, and steak seasoning; toss to coat.
  4. Add dry spiral pasta, milk, tomato sauce, A1 Steak Sauce, and beef broth, ensuring noodles are covered in liquid.
  5. Bring to a slow bubble, then reduce heat, and cover with a lid.
  6. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles soften and sauce thickens.
  7. Mix in 1 cup of mozzarella until melted, then sprinkle remaining cheese on top and cover until gooey.
  8. Serve hot directly from the pan.

Notes

For extra flavor, try using different types of cheese, like cheddar or provolone, and add more vegetables to enhance nutrition.
