Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices of bread (sourdough or Texas toast)
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar and American recommended)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Butter, for grilling
Instructions
- In a skillet, sauté ground beef with onions, garlic, salt, and pepper until browned.
- Drain any excess fat and stir in Worcestershire sauce.
- Layer the beef mixture on one slice of buttered bread and add cheese.
- Top with another slice of bread, butter the outside, and grill on medium heat for about 4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Let the cheese melt thoroughly before serving.
Notes
For a fun presentation, slice sandwiches diagonally and serve with toothpicks. Pair with French fries or salad.
