Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pinching seams to seal.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with 1 cup granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent dough in the baking dish.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese layer, pinching seams together.
- Brush melted butter over the top layer and sprinkle with a mixture of ground cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
- Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing into squares.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Drizzle with honey or powdered sugar for extra sweetness. Pair with fresh fruit or whipped cream.
