Description
A warm, gooey loaf of garlic-infused bread stuffed with melted cheese. Perfect for sharing at family dinners and gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf soft crusty bread (Italian or sourdough)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend)
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut deep slits into the loaf of bread without slicing all the way through.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the minced garlic.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously inside the slits of the bread.
- Stuff each slit with shredded cheese.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, until the bread is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For longer storage, wrap tightly in plastic and freeze for up to 2 months.
