Description

A creamy and cheesy casserole that is perfect for gatherings or a comforting family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans Hominy (one white and one golden)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 can Diced Green Chilis (or jalapeños)
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (shredded)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the hominy, sour cream, and diced green chilis. Mix well.
  3. Stir in the Monterey Jack cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix until everything is well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add more sour cream or cheese. Customize with spices like cumin or paprika.
