Ingredients

  • 1 pound Tteokbokki rice cakes
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 1 tablespoon gochugaru
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups water or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Green onions, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Prepare the rice cakes and any additional toppings.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  3. Add gochujang and gochugaru to the pan and stir well.
  4. Incorporate the rice cakes and pour in the water or broth to create a sauce.
