Description
Chicken Bulgogi brings the vibrant flavors of Korea right to your dinner table, marinated in a savory blend of soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced chicken to the marinade, coating it well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
- Heat a grill or cast iron skillet over high heat.
- Cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through and beautifully caramelized.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute soy sauce with tamari. You can also add gochujang for a spicy kick.
