Description

A fun twist on traditional lasagna with tender noodles, creamy chicken, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Lasagna Noodles (Cooked al dente)
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken (Shredded)
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • ¼ cup Fresh Basil (Chopped)
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay flat on a clean towel.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, minced garlic, chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Take one lasagna noodle, place a generous amount of filling at one end, and roll it tightly. Place seam-side down in a baking dish.
  5. Pour half of the marinara sauce at the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange the roll-ups snugly and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Cover with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for an easy shortcut. You can also add spinach or mushrooms to the filling for extra flavor.
