Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sweet Hungarian paprika
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Egg noodles or rice, for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a heavy-bottomed dutch oven over medium heat.
- Sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Brown the chicken pieces on both sides.
- Add sweet paprika and stir well.
- Pour in the chicken broth, bring to a simmer, and cook until chicken is tender.
- Remove the pot from heat and stir in sour cream until smooth.
