Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (4% milk fat preferred)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup minced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or chives)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the cottage cheese, mayonnaise (or yogurt), Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and black pepper; taste for seasoning.
  2. Fold in the diced celery, minced red onion, and chopped herbs.
  3. Chill for 20-30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
