Description

This rich and creamy chocolate cheesecake is filled with deep chocolate flavor, perfect for special occasions or as a sweet indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Chocolate Cookie Crumbs
  • 0.25 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 0.33 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 32 ounces Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 4 large Eggs (at room temperature)
  • 8 ounces Dark Chocolate (melted, at least 60% cocoa content)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 1 pinch Salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Mix until well-coated.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then cool.
  5. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar, heavy cream, and melted chocolate. Mix until creamy.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Mix in vanilla and salt.
  8. Pour filling over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 55-65 minutes until edges are set and center jiggles slightly.
  10. Cool in the oven for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Run a knife around the edges, release the pan, and serve with optional garnishes.
