Description

Warm, gooey chocolate cookies with a molten marshmallow center, perfect for bake sales and cozy nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup (150 g) granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup (165 g) packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups (280 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup (35 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups (255 g) chocolate chips
  • Marshmallow fluff

Instructions

  1. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).
  2. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; fold into wet ingredients until combined.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop 1.5-tablespoon dough rounds onto parchment-lined sheets.
  6. Chill the dough for 20–30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 6–7 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and pipe approximately 1 teaspoon of marshmallow fluff into the center of each cookie.
  9. Gently swirl the marshmallow with a small spatula.
  10. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 3–5 minutes until the edges are set.
  11. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
