Description
A fun and spooky dessert combining chocolate pudding and crushed cookies, perfect for Halloween celebrations.
Ingredients
- 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
 - 4 cups cold milk
 - 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
 - ½ cup butter, softened
 - 1 cup powdered sugar
 - 1 container (12 oz) whipped topping, thawed
 - 1 package (14 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies
 - 1 bag gummy worms
 - Optional: candy pumpkins, candy eyes, sprinkles, gummy dinosaurs, or mint sprigs for garnish
 
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk the pudding mixes with cold milk until thickened. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator.
 - Pulse the cookies in a food processor until finely crushed. Alternatively, crush them in a bag with a rolling pin.
 - In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping and then stir this mixture into the pudding.
 - In a 9×13 dish or a trifle bowl, layer the crushed cookies and the pudding mixture, repeating until full. Finish with cookie crumbs on top.
 - Before serving, add gummy worms, candy pumpkins, or any themed decorations you like.
 
Notes
For a fun presentation, serve in individual cups or a large bowl. Cover leftovers to keep fresh for 3 to 4 days.
