Description

Festive Christmas Tree Cupcakes topped with green frosting and decorations, perfect for holiday celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Green food coloring
  • 1 1/2 cups buttercream frosting
  • Sprinkles and star toppers for decoration


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, until combined.
  7. Line a cupcake pan with liners and fill each cup about 2/3 full with batter.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let the cupcakes cool completely.
  10. Color the buttercream frosting with green food coloring and pipe onto the cooled cupcakes to create tree shapes.
  11. Decorate with sprinkles and star toppers.

Notes

Store cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Can freeze for up to 2 months.
