Description
Festive Christmas Tree Cupcakes topped with green frosting and decorations, perfect for holiday celebrations.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Green food coloring
- 1 1/2 cups buttercream frosting
- Sprinkles and star toppers for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, until combined.
- Line a cupcake pan with liners and fill each cup about 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely.
- Color the buttercream frosting with green food coloring and pipe onto the cooled cupcakes to create tree shapes.
- Decorate with sprinkles and star toppers.
Notes
Store cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Can freeze for up to 2 months.
