Ingredients
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese with 1 cup sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
- In another bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, and remaining sugar, then stir in melted butter to form a dough.
- Press the churro dough into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the churro crust.
- Bake for 55 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is slightly wobbly.
- Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate before serving.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overmixing to prevent cracks.
