Description

A delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake and a crunchy churro crust with cinnamon-sugar goodness.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese with 1 cup sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, and remaining sugar, then stir in melted butter to form a dough.
  5. Press the churro dough into the bottom of a springform pan.
  6. Pour the cheesecake filling over the churro crust.
  7. Bake for 55 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is slightly wobbly.
  8. Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate before serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overmixing to prevent cracks.
