Description

A delightful treat combining sweet toffee and cinnamon sugar over crunchy Saltine crackers, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 24 Saltine crackers
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Evenly space out Saltine crackers on the baking sheet.
  3. Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it reaches a gentle boil.
  4. Pour the melted mixture evenly over the crackers.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  7. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
