Description

Cinnamon Sugar Soft Pretzel Bites are warm, pillowy treats with a sweet, spiced topping, perfect for snacking or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup baking soda (for boiling solution)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (optional for brushing)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy.
  2. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture and knead until smooth and elastic (about 5 minutes).
  3. Let the dough rise until it doubles in size, about 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  5. Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Boil a large pot of water with baking soda; boil pretzel bites for 30 seconds.
  7. Place boiled bites on a baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and mix cinnamon sugar for coating.
  8. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Roll in cinnamon sugar while still warm.

Notes

Serve with a side of warm cream cheese or chocolate sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
