Description

A flavorful sandwich combining Italian meats, cheeses, and a vibrant olive salad, perfect for picnics or casual lunches.


Ingredients

  • 1 round loaf of ciabatta or sesame seed bread
  • 1/2 cup olive salad (made with olives, garlic, and spices)
  • 4 slices salami
  • 4 slices ham
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Prepare the olive salad and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  2. Slice the round loaf in half horizontally.
  3. Layer salami, ham, provolone, and mozzarella on the bottom half of the loaf.
  4. Spread the prepared olive salad evenly over the layered meats and cheeses.
  5. Top with the other half of the loaf and press down gently.
  6. Wrap the sandwich tightly and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve the sandwich cut into quarters or eighths.

Notes
