A flavorful sandwich combining Italian meats, cheeses, and a vibrant olive salad, perfect for picnics or casual lunches.
Ingredients
- 1 round loaf of ciabatta or sesame seed bread
- 1/2 cup olive salad (made with olives, garlic, and spices)
- 4 slices salami
- 4 slices ham
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the olive salad and refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Slice the round loaf in half horizontally.
- Layer salami, ham, provolone, and mozzarella on the bottom half of the loaf.
- Spread the prepared olive salad evenly over the layered meats and cheeses.
- Top with the other half of the loaf and press down gently.
- Wrap the sandwich tightly and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the sandwich cut into quarters or eighths.
