Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin pan with paper liners.
- In one bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine wet ingredients: sugar, eggs, and butter.
- Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- For the topping, mix butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon until crumbly.
- Layer half the batter into the muffin cups, add the topping, then finish with the remaining batter.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
