Ingredients
- 1 package unflavored gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 can cranberry sauce
- 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Combine the gelatin mixture with cranberry sauce and chopped nuts, and pour into a mold.
- Refrigerate until set, ideally overnight.
- In a bowl, whip together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese topping over the chilled Jello.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves or chopped nuts before serving.
Notes
Allow the Jello to set thoroughly for the best texture. Use fresh cranberries for more flavor, and consider adding a splash of orange juice for additional zest.
