Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup cold milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. Cut the cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add the cranberries, orange zest, and maple syrup, mixing gently.
  5. Pour in the cold milk and mix until the dough comes together.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, shape it into a circle, and cut into wedges.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes
