Description

Juicy meatballs slathered in tangy cranberry sauce, nestled between soft slider buns, creating a comforting and festive dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 12 slider buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: arugula, pickled onions


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground meats, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into bite-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. While baking, combine cranberry sauce and mustard in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until warm.
  6. Toss the cooked meatballs in the cranberry sauce to coat.
  7. Serve meatballs on slider buns with optional toppings.

Notes

To prevent slider buns from getting soggy, consider lightly toasting them before adding the meatballs.
