Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 slider buns
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and orange zest. Cook on medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a meatball on each bun and topping with cranberry sauce.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a twist, you can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef and pork. Adjust the size of the meatballs for smaller bites if desired.
