Description

Savory meatballs topped with a vibrant cranberry sauce, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and orange zest. Cook on medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
  6. Assemble the sliders by placing a meatball on each bun and topping with cranberry sauce.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a twist, you can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef and pork. Adjust the size of the meatballs for smaller bites if desired.
