Description

A delightful dish featuring blackened shrimp, creamy sauce, and cavatappi pasta, perfect for impressing family and friends.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Cavatappi Noodles
  • 1 pound Large Shrimp, raw and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Blackened Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Sweet Corn
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onion, chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook the cavatappi noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the raw shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle the blackened seasoning on top. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and tomato paste. Stir well to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Mix in the sour cream and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  6. Add the sweet corn and cooked shrimp back to the skillet, mixing everything until well combined and heated through.
  7. Fold in the cooked cavatappi, ensuring all the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle some extra Parmesan cheese and green onions on top before serving.
