Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1/2 cup butter, warmed
  • 1/2 cup cream, warmed
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into even chunks.
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender.
  3. Drain and let them dry slightly to reduce moisture.
  4. Combine the potatoes with warmed cream and butter.
  5. Gently mash until smooth, being careful not to over-mash.
