Description

A delightful pasta dish combining vibrant basil pesto with a rich, creamy sauce, perfect for quick weeknight meals or impressing guests.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine recommended)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup basil pesto
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pine nuts, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook your preferred pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, combine heavy cream, grated Parmesan, and basil pesto.
  3. Mix until well combined and heated through.
  4. Toss the drained pasta in the skillet with the creamy sauce until evenly coated.
  5. Serve with additional Parmesan and pine nuts on top, if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of cream or pasta water.
