Description

A comforting dish that combines tender meatballs in a luscious sauce with al dente egg noodles, all baked to cheesy perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into bite-sized meatballs.
  4. In a skillet, brown the meatballs over medium heat until cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles until al dente; drain.
  6. In a baking dish, combine cooked noodles, meatballs, and heavy cream; mix well.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
