Ingredients
- 1 cup plain yogurt (full-fat or Greek)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour in the vegetable oil and mix until incorporated.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Serve with fresh berries, a drizzle of honey, or lightly whipped cream. Store wrapped at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
