Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • Caramel sauce, for drizzling
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving
  • Whipped cream, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sliced apples, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Take one slice of apple and wrap it snugly in a piece of crescent dough.
  4. Place the wrapped dumpling in a baking dish. Repeat for all apple slices.
  5. Brush the tops of the dumplings with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and apples are tender.
  7. Serve warm with a drizzle of caramel sauce, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a dollop of whipped cream.
