These Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Tenders are healthier than traditional fried versions and offer a crunchy, delicious meal for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh chicken tenders
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray or oil, for misting
Instructions
- Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Prepare three shallow bowls: one with flour seasoned with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken tender in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the breaded tenders in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with cooking spray. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer to retain crispiness.
